Confined

This piece was cast, sculpted, welded and fabricated by me. The baby appendages and body were cast in wax and then iron from a doll and the house fabricated and welded together using scrap metal. The idea was how children represented by the baby parts show how when kids that grow up in bad environments, areas that are high in crime, poverty, drugs, unemployment, etc. take effect on those who live there, especially kids. The kids will soon become adults and have children of their own that aren't raised in the best circumstances. That cycle will continue until the house is filled and those in it are destined to keep the cycle going.
